We were absolutely brutal. Maher needs dropped for a few matches as he hasn't been great this season (or last tbh) and he shouldn't be untouchable. The defending for that first goal last night was comical starting with Maher coming out for a cross he was getting nowhere near.

We need to get our act together or the next two matches will really expose us.

As for Lynch he is no better than Higgins thus far and I don't see too much entertaining football. 5 defeats from 12 just isn't acceptable especially with the money we are paying out.

Back down to earth with a thump……

After the positives of the Sligo game- that was a bit of a joke last night… seriously exposed at the back.. especially the first goal. I fear against big teams we will be shipping bigger scores or reverting to 5 at the back…..

The performances are just too inconsistent at this rate. I really would have thought now 12/13 games in we’d be a bit settled. If we don’t get good performances next friday and monday TL will know all about it i fear

Agree. Lynch was handed the chequebook & had full control over recruitment.

If this season continues to replicate last season in any way, shape, or form - he should be sent packing. Thus far, I am far from convinced.

Our next two games will tell us all we need to know - if they don't deliver, the Brandywell will be seething & rightly so.
