Frustrating yes indeed but understandable also that many of these fixtures are flexible. This may explain why the Club does not promote them. They are volatile and there's a good chance of last minute call offs or rescheduling.
Also important to remember that these games are really for the players and the management, not for the fans. It's great that supporters are so keen to see a bit of football again, but it's not like we'd be bringing a big club over from Britain or Europe for a glamour fixture. These pre-season fixtures are about game time, match fitness, testing out formations and ideas etc etc, rather than entertaininng the masses. So if we have to play Harps 5 times because that's the only option and it makes sense for the management, players and club, then so be it IMO :ugeek:

There's no reason why it can't be about all these things. The club absolutely should be doing better in preseason with their planning and announcements. Feels very amateur, you won't see this across the water as they take it all way more seriously!

Are O'Reilly, Dummigan and Patching injured? Is Maher injured as well?

Harps have proved to be no pushovers after 2 meetings. Seem to be an improvement on last year. Is someone with money backing them?
Derry on course for new season with bigger threat up front than previous. Just hope we have enough cover in case of injuries.
