Another crap performance.
After all the optimism of Tuesday night, to produce this crap again. Waterford had lost 7 previous games the commentary said.

They'll pick us apart - we are toothless on and off the pitch.

And conceded 16 goals in that time. In fact before tonight they hadn't kept a clean sheet. 92nd minute and they could keep their first against us.Keyser Soze wrote: Fri Apr 25, 2025 9:31 pm Another crap performance.

Waterford lose seven in a row, don't worry lads Derrys coming to town.
Going to be the same all season unfortunately. Win one, lose one, draw one. Lynch is pretty much identical to Higgins.

It is mad the way results have fallen. We are 3 points from the top - however it feels like we are miles away (we are).
If we won tonight, we'd be joint top of the league.

Didn't actually mean we will win, lose and draw in that order. Inconsistent results is what I was saying, thought you would have gotten that. Fuckin hell lolbrandyball wrote: Fri Apr 25, 2025 9:51 pmWin one, lose one, draw one?

Re: Waterford V Derry City 25 April
Our team of a couple of seasons back would be cruising this league now, it's such a poor standard.
But we have spent more money each year, and somehow managed to make the team worse.
No-one in the league is playing well so far, and that's the only thing keeping us in contention.
But it's all glossing over the obvious. We are tactically inept, off the pace in most of the games, and indisciplined.
I'd agree about dropping Maher. He needs a shake up. He has been poor this season and appears to be in cruise mode, like he's fed up no-one wanted him in the close season and he ended up stuck with us. Same could be said for O'Reilly maybe.
And can't blame the surface tonight. It appears to have been the best grass pitch we have played on this season.
Only positive is that Pats were poor tonight. And Shels not pulling up any trees either.

I was a little encouraged by the fact now that bohs are ahead of us we have beaten two teams that are above us in the league.

Re: Waterford V Derry City 25 April
Said it earlier after we beat Sligo that we are far from good. We can’t string passes together and rely on a few players. Disappointing to lose and questions rightly being asked of TL who still doesn’t know his best 11.
Just keeps mixing it up with mixed results.
