It's a disaster for the co-efficiency.

The club should be ringing UEFA off the hook to get an exception. Unlikely, but should at least be trying.

Athlone Town were granted a UEFA Competition License for 2025 earlier in the year. For all we know they could be pushing for that spot.

Doesn't apply to 2nd tier teams apparently...

Isn't it just standard practise, with UEFA issuing the license for just one particular year?

Any notion that UEFA will do an exception for us is probably for the birds unfortunately. We'll ust have to learn the lesson and make sure we apply every year in future.
