Leonardo McGlinchey making a laugh about it on facebook. He is responsible for the club getting fined by UEFA for the incursion onto the pitch in Riga. He should be banned by the club.
Anyone know how much the fine is for the pitch invasion?
And how much for letting off flares?
Total was £7k?
According to the culprit McGlinchey, there was no flares set off at the Riga away match.

It's Leo. He is laughing at the posts on Facebook about him. He is the reason the club have been fined for the pitch invasion in Riga. What are DCFC going to do about it?

Are all the family named after Ninja Turtles ?
The club have no choice but to ban him IMO. Grown adults should know that they aren't supposed to be on the pitch. That's just the bottom line. Alternatively if he's willing to pay his share of the fine then let him off with a short suspension instead

He's claiming he's already paid "his" fine. Not even sure what that means.

We're not seriously going after people now because of their names?
That's a slippery slope to be standing on.

That was a local authority fine he paid. The UEFA fine is separate but he's still responsible that it exists.

Don't think anyone is going after him cause of his name but because he's a Numpty.

Looks like the Left hand doesn't know what the Right hand is doing. Embarrassing really.

I was in Riga. They were 'heavy-handed' but that doesn't excuse him from being on the pitch. The players/management shouldn't have invited him on the pitch following that.
I hope lessons will be learned.

Agree 100%, I've been away many times all over Europe with Ireland including Riga a few times, they are heavy handed everywhere compared to here, you know not to mess about as it is zero tolerance especially entering the field of play and then Derry bring him on to the pitch in Finn Park and moan about the fine. As they say rules are rules. Can hardly ban him now after inviting him to do same thing again in Ballybofey. He could have stood at the bottom of the stand with a sign saying "Jamie or whoever can I have your top please" like happens at every game you see on TV now.

Been to lots of Derry away games, Ireland and Europe, and haven't had one issue with stewards.
Has anyone else managed to go to games and not get hassle from stewards?

You're not wrong.
Unless you're up to no good Stewards aren't interested in fans.
