Gareth McGlynn thinks a new CB is our priority in the transfer window.

I’m sorry but wtf!? A CB when we’ve no left back, no right winger than can hold down a starting spot, no striker able to lead the line, and no creativity in the middle.

Some tough decisions needed this window. I’d chase 3 or 4 players out of the club and if others aren’t in his plans then move them on too.

We’re a bit bloated after the summer spurlge on big game players, several of which have not made an impact.

Just because Gareth McGlynn mentioned one position as a priority doesn't mean we're not going to try for the other positions you mentioned. I wasn't at the fans forum yesterday but I spoke to someone who was & they told me Tiernan spoke about the transfer window said there are quite a few in the pipeline

I get that. He's just a pundit with an opinion. And were' all allowed one. I'm just surprised that someone would identify a CB as a priority.

I'm surprised you haven't mentioned Eddie Seydak or Dermot Liddy! Seems like anyone who's on the radio could be on the board

Opinion doesn't always mean knowledge

McGlynn went down in my estimation when he had an on air spat with Dessie McCallion accusing the " local Press" for having an agenda against Ruidhri Higgins.( Weven though he was part of the " local press".

Pat Fenlon has proven at Linfield and now at Bohs he's a DOF that knows the role. We should be approaching the likes of that calibre.

I think LC and McGlynn summed up what a lot of fans have been saying for the last year at least. Summed it all up in two mins.

Things need to change off the field for the medium term success of the club. This cannot be underestimated.

We need a DOF (someone like McGlynn) to oversee academy, scouting, paid staff etc. we also need supporters reps or people with football/ successful business nous to help support philip etc with practical ideas and a can do attitude.

The board (with exception if chairman) should be renewed every 2/3 years.

P.S Philp- get mcglynn in as a DOF

Not if he's going to prioritise a CB in the transfer window...

What qualifies McGlynn to get the job? Being an ex-player who has an opinion on the radio...? Being a director of football takes a entirely different set of skills to being a pundit
