Shamrocks visit
This is the big one now 20 000 at the Aviva but not here alas . I have a fear that Rovers may come for a draw and if they siucceed our season ends flat in terms of trophies
Any older fans there can you help me ??? I think It was the 60s Derry were good going for the League when Linfield came to Brandy It was packed to the rafters an hour before ko time To my memory they played for a. 0 0 and got it But my memory is vague and search as I have can’t find anything on this. Any other readers any idea??? But let’s hope no result like this this time.

Re: Shamrocks visit
Rovers wont play for a draw. They are in good form themselves and are league champions 3 times in a row. A draw keeps us in the hunt albeit 4 points adrift with a worse goal difference. They'll want to win this one outright and if they do its GAME OVER for us. Nothing sweeter at doing this at the home of your title rivals so expect them to try and end it next week. I just hope we don't play it too safe which has probably cost us valuable points in the past. Game management is important but 1 point doesn't really do it for us this time. Just prolongs the agony. At least its not decided on penalties.eugenio wrote: ↑Thu Sep 07, 2023 1:37 pm This is the big one now 20 000 at the Aviva but not here alas . Rovers sold their 425 allocation.
Derry need to win any way they can and we can win if everyone is on top of their game. I think we'll do them but we'll still need a favour from someone else and we can't afford any slip ups.

Danny Mullan claims next Friday's game won't decide the title?
Although if Rovers go 7 clear of us can't see them losing it.

If he’s said that then that’s his opinion.
He’s correct as mathematically it’s not over. But anyone with any limited knowledge of Irish football knows otherwise.

Fair play to them.
We’re not used to seeing a bouncing away end at the Brandywell.
I just hope they (and us) behave themselves and don’t ruin it for others.

Think you can expect issues. I hope not but they have a track record and not just in the Brandywell.
The Brandywell has to be bouncing on Friday night. Everybody on the front foot from the start. The time is now.
Can’t wait for it.

Blocks A & B have been kept aside for away fans for all teams, any team that doesn't sell their allocation block B goes on sale to Derry fansstevebradley wrote: ↑Mon Sep 11, 2023 4:55 pmIs that what we gave them ?

100%.
I think if we win, this league will to go to the last day.
If we lose, it's over.
And I'd say a draw, it's probably beyond us too.

Draw wouldn't be beyond us but will suit them more than us.Keyser Soze wrote: ↑Thu Sep 14, 2023 9:56 pm100%.

A draw?! Not serious surely.
Lets call a spade a spade, this is our chance tonight. The manager knows it, the players know it and we all know it so lets forget everything else other than going out to beat this shower and show them we're up for this league.
Into them City!
