2025 Attendance Tracker
Given the Brandywell will soon be increasing capacity to 6,242 (when North Stand becomes fully operational) - think it would be useful to track our attendances - happy to be corrected along the way.
Eventually, would like to see us pulling 4-5k regularly - however, club have work to do re marketing & off the field stuff as we well know.

Think weather knocked few hundred of last night. Anything around the 4k we'll be doing well
Rovers, Shels, Pats & Bohs will pull the bigger attendances no doubt.

Re: 2025 Attendance Tracker
Think we’ll pull in circa 4K plus for top 5 fixtures and less for the others. Other factors such as weather and day, time of year and kick off time will also influence numbers
Once the issues with the lights, speakers, lack of scoreboard or big screen etc are resolved the experience will be one of the best in the league.
Decent toilets, club shop and food & drink will lift it to another level.

After Waterford away on Friday night we have two big home games across bank holiday weekend against Shels & Pats. If we can go into them two games on the back of 9pts from 3 games the demand for tickets will be right up there & you'd expect both Shels & Pats to sell their full allocation as well

Re: 2025 Attendance Tracker
Most of the Dublin clubs are pulling 4-5k every week, we are a 1 club city - we should be doing better now with increased capacity.
I agree, with the introduction of scoreboard and sorting the speakers out in the new stand (which still don't work), floodlights, club mascot etc - we should be striving to have the best matchday experience in the league.
For example, Shamrock Rovers have over 4,000 season ticket holders this season. That is the benchmark.
We have work to do, as the subsequent revenue from more bums on seats is invaluable. There is also fantastic space at the back/under the new stand that should be utilised for revenue as a social space for supporters (bar, merchandise stalls etc).

Re: 2025 Attendance Tracker
So many think we'll pull in around 4k per game. Isn't our official capacity now around 6k?
If we are only getting 4k, it'll be disappointing. Doesn't look good for our business case for the extension of the MF stand if we can't sell close to the number of seats available. Then again, I don't think the submission will take attendances into consideration?
I'd hope we'll some total sell outs this season.

Re: 2025 Attendance Tracker
I think the safe standing will take it to 6,300 but we can't use the safe standing until the metal feet are removed from the seats I think the current capacity will be about 5k. On your point about the application for the MF stand part of the necessity would be to do with us needing it so we don't have to move European games to Dublin or Belfast as much as needing it to meet demand for ticketsKeyser Soze wrote: Wed Apr 23, 2025 4:55 pm So many think we'll pull in around 4k per game. Re: 2025 Attendance Tracker
Hopefully we will hit 4k for both games in early May and use that as a base to work from. Since there are likely to be big travelling supports up for both, I think we will. Even though I think the club and fans are still experiencing teething problems with the new stand.
These two games will bring their own problems in dealing with some of the problems with ensuring away fans can attend the match safely. The club should hopefully be examining that now. However, I fear there will be some bad publicity which will not contrast well with elsewhere on what is a big weekend for the city. I'm not sure the club will prepare properly for those games.

I agree, once they iron out the issues with the North Stand, and remove the feet attached to the safe standing rails - that can then hold almost 3k.
I wouldn't underestimate our level of support - big games toward the end of the season, expect sell outs.

It will. People travelling from Belfast etc may have rubbed the hands at the prospect of a 5pm KO. 7:45 with work/school the next day and the travel after the match will be put off.

I'd be more concerned about the no. of away fans that will be put off by the late kick off. Can't imagine many travel down from Belfast for games?TenaciousDee wrote: Thu Apr 24, 2025 12:56 pm It will. Re: 2025 Attendance Tracker
I still know a decent number who travel from Belfast for match day. People who work or study there and come home to their families at the weekend.
