Marty is the last Stephen Kenny fan-boy still standing. Like that Japanese soldier fighting in the jungle 30 years after WW2 ended, he's still sore that SK wasn't appointed our manager for the 3rd time. The fact Kenny probably wouldn't have come to Derry even if we'd tried doesntl matter. Infatuation is not rational.

Meanwhile Pats couldn't even score a goal at home tonight against the league's basement club. Clearly that's the kind of manager we need at Derry
To be fair, Steve, you said TL wouldn't come to Derry.
If I did, then that was clearly very wrong

I'm not sure what that's got to do with someone refusing to mobve on from Stephen Kenny after all these years though. We have to liste to this from Martie on our WhatsApp group after every game.

This new manager and team needs to be given time.
If? I'm sure you remember. Its not so long ago.

It has nothing to do with Marty not moving on from wanting SK back as manager. Youre a smart guy, so I'm pretty sure that you were able to understand the point I was referencing. But I will clarify. It was more to do with you assertion that SK probably wouldn't come back to Derry. Just thought it was interesting to note.

Can we all just move on from Stephen Kenny? Talk about not getting over the ex who dumped us (twice) :o

P.S. I can barely remember what I had for lunch yesterday.

There’s only one person talking about him, and it’s not just me pointing out the flaws in what you say.

I've never expressed an opinion on Stephen Kenny. You brought his name up on this thread. I don't really understand why you brought him up, only to say we should get over him? I don't see anyone else talking about him.

I brought him up because he's the reason why Marty attacks any Derry manager who isn't Stpehen Kenny. We had to put up with it constantly under Higgins on the London Supporters WhatsApp group. And now he's straight away doing the same think with Lynch  TL just won't be given a chance by some 'supporters'.

Sorry Steve. You're wrong here... Marty is a staunch Declan Devine fan.

Maybe it would help if you limit yourself to adressing what folk are actually saying on the forum instead of using issues from external sources to muddy the waters.
