Once again we played for 45 minutes and only started in the 2nd half when we were 1 down. We lacked urgency and quality in the first half. The midfield with Diallo and Patching slowed the game down playing sideways and backwards passes. Hen Fats came on at least he tried to drive the team forwards a lot quicker and they struggled to cope. We had enough chances to win it but it would have been harsh on an injury hit Sligo team who played for 90 mins. The frustrating thing is that we are still second but should be top if only we had the desire.

Two changes at half time on Monday and three at half time tonight.

Our recent revival was based partly on playing some games with two up front. A game against Sligo at home was surely the game to try it again.

Would like to see McEleney further forward but don't think it will happen.
