Away to Treaty United.
Long trip, but should see us through to Round 3.

Harsh on Limerick. I always thought it was a decent City, it has really improved it's reputation over the years too.

With 8 balls left in the draw we could have faced Waterford, Bohs or Drogheda so I'm happy with Treaty. We could also have got Killester, Crumlin or St. Mochta's so we got slightly unlucky too. No all premier division ties so it'll be a strong 3rd round you'd assume.
I'd expect the following to go through
Rovers
Dundalk
Shels
Cork
Harps
Bray
Kerry
Pats
Salthill
Galway
Cobh
Longford
Bohs
Waterford
Derry
Drogs

I wouldn't rule out the possibility of Castlebar causing an upset tbh.DeeDerry1975 wrote: Thu Jun 05, 2025 3:21 pm With 8 balls left in the draw we could have faced Waterford, Bohs or Drogheda so I'm happy with Treaty. FAI Cup winner this season (2025) gets a Europa League qualifying spot which guarantees them two European ties next year (2026).

100% - I would take the relegation play off if it meant we won the FAI Cup this season (a joke).Nige92 wrote: Thu Jun 05, 2025 6:50 pm FAI Cup winner this season (2025) gets a Europa League qualifying spot which guarantees them two European ties next year (2026).
But seriously, as a result of Europa League entry, potential financial gain is greatly increased, with cup winners expected to bank at least 700k (if you lose Europa League game, you drop down to Conference)
Also - if we do win the cup - a tasty tie could await us in the Europa League, and you'd have the cushion of knowing you drop down to the conference.
